GRP HOT PRESSED SECTIONAL (PANEL) WATER TANKS

about img

URC is a leading manufacturer of GRP Sectional Hot Press Panel Tanks

We pride ourselves on providing the best GRP Panel Design and Production. Produced by ensuring a consistent emphasis on health, safety and consumer satisfaction, by using state of the art technology in GRP Panel Design and Production. Panels and all related parts conform to the water quality standards and food sanitation acts and are manufactured to the requirements of the quality standards.

Insulation

URC produces insulated panels to meet the temperature extreme of the gulf and tropical regions. Insulation thickness (as desired) is positioned in between the GRP single panel and GRP cover. These panels are used for the side and roof of the tanks. Air layer exists between the roof and the water level, which itself acts as a thermal insulation.

Installation of Tanks

URC's panel tanks are constructed from prefabricated hot press moulded GRP panels, which are easily assembled at the job site. Standard panel sizes being 1.m x 1.5m and 0.5m x 1m. Panels are connected together by bolts. Special gaskets are used to completely seal the tank. With careful selection of suitable panels, the tank shape and size can be designed to completely match the installation at site. The installation is one of the important task of panel tank. The project is not complete unless satisfactory installation is achieved.

BRACING SYSTEMS

Tanks can have either type of the following bracing systems, subject to the noted sizes restriction:

Internal Bracing

Apply only for tanks of height >1.0 m
Through 12 mm tie rods (S/S Grade 316) fortank sizes upto 5m x 5m x 3m (H)
Through angle brackets avoiding tie rods (all in S/S Grade 316)

External Bracing

Apply only for tanks of height >1.0 m
Through hot dip galvanised parts support the panels from the external sides.
This system can be used for all tank sizes, especially for tank sizes greater than 6m x 6m x 3m (H).
